Monterrey–Texas Freight for Apodaca, García, and the Laredo Spine
Monterrey–Texas freight is Mexico’s densest industrial run to the U.S. COL Freight Solutions routes Apodaca and Saltillo cargo through the Laredo cluster that actually fits the park.

Monterrey–Texas freight is the reason Laredo exists at the scale it does. Nuevo León’s parks—Apodaca, General Escobedo, Pesquería, Ciénaga de Flores, García, Santa Catarina—plus nearby Ramos Arizpe and Saltillo in Coahuila, sit a short Mexican haul from Colombia Solidarity or World Trade Bridge. COL Freight Solutions books FTL and LTL from those docks to Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and the rest of the United States and Canada.
Automotive, appliances, steel, and contract manufacturing dominate the cube. A plant in García does not want the same bridge instructions as a bodega in Nuevo Laredo. Typical road time after a clean release can look like a same-day or next-day story to DFW; typical total time still depends on customs at the chosen span.
Park-level routing, not “Monterrey” as a pin
Eastern and airport-adjacent parks often pair naturally with World Trade Bridge and Nuevo Laredo staging. Western parks in García and Santa Catarina often pair better with Colombia Solidarity when the Mexican carrier and aduana already work that gate. We ask which park, which andén, and whether the trailer is drop or live before we pick a U.S. linehaul carrier.
Saltillo and Ramos Arizpe are not Monterrey, even when the same logistics director owns both. They add minutes to hours on the Mexican side and can change which Texas empty market you want on the return.
- Southbound U.S. parts and resins feeding OEM and Tier-1 plants
- Northbound finished goods into Texas DCs for national distribution
- Flatbed for steel, structures, and uncrated industrial pieces
What “next day to Dallas” really means
The miles after the bridge are not the hard part. Prefile, inspection, and whether your Mexican invoice matches the packing list are the hard part. We quote typical ranges and refuse a guaranteed hour that ignores Aduana.
LTL from Monterrey toward Texas still consolidates. If you have enough cube, buy the truck and skip the extra terminal. If you do not, accept that small freight rides with other shippers’ clocks.
No COL bodega in Apodaca
We coordinate partner warehousing when freight must dwell in Nuevo León or on the Texas side. COL does not publish a fake park address. Offices: Saint Petersburg, FL, and Los Gatos, CA. Call 561-880-9808. Repeat Monterrey–Texas volume may qualify for the Transportation Cost Recovery Program™.
Beyond Texas
The same sealed trailer can continue to Chicago, the Southeast, or California after Laredo. That is a U.S. long-haul on top of a border product. Price both chapters. Canada beyond that is another chapter still.
